Onboarding is more than just new hire orientation. Onboarding is a process.  Orientation is an event – the first step in the onboarding process.

The orientation step allows you to collect all relevant Human Resources, Payroll and Benefits forms.

The onboarding process helps you to develop a happy contributor. APS ConneX Experience is 360o talent connection platform designed to engage, inform and inspire the human resource talent of the Atlanta Public Schools.

The Connex experience was thoughtfully designed to help new employees put their best foot forward in their start with Atlanta Public Schools.

During the APS Connex Xperience, new employees will: complete critical paperwork, receive critical district policy and employment information, learn about safety and security protocols, and discover employee resources & services to help them throughout their employment.

The APS Connex mobile app is the newest innovation in HR Talent management. With this app, we can to engage employees exactly where they live – online & on-demand.

What can we truly do with this app? The sky is the limit! But for starters, how about schedule and track onboarding/orientation events, provide consistency in messaging and communication, and engage live at events as well as on-demand.
